(More customer reviews)I purchased a wireless camera security system, the cameras transmit a low power 2.4ghz signal. A dvr receives the signal (records) & provides the video to the tv. The dvr with the original (small) antenna had to be located 5ft from the tv & placed on a box in the middle of a window frame to receive a usable signal from each of the 4 cameras. After much research on gain antennas with the proper connector I decided to try this reasonable duck gain antenna. I thought, if it worked, I could move the dvr anywhere in the room. It did work, but the dvr could only be moved 2ft closer to the tv, but in a much better location (on the window sill & against the frame). The dvr does receive a 4 bar signal from each of the 4 cameras at this much more convenient location. The 2.4ghz signal has proven to be very tricky & sensitive.
