(More customer reviews)I've use this antenna on the outside of three different buildings. Definitely improves and extends the wifi receiving and/or sending abilities of connected equipment compared to the small antennas that come attached to wifi routers or receivers (I use the Buffalo Ethernet Converter as a wifi receiver). You have to make sure your equipment's antennas are detachable to connect a better antenna.
It's unfortunate this listing does not currently include information about the cable connection type. I'm looking to buy another one of these with the SMA Plug Connector, but the seller is not available to contact, and does not list the full model number that would indicate plug connector type (as of Nov. 22, 2010).
